Turn the 98 threaded barrel clockwise until it is secure. In order to put your barrel (aka the cherry on top) back on, you will want to take your stock TMC 98 threaded barrel, or a different barrel (such as the Killhouse Headhunter Barrel) and feed it through the shroud.

Then, you will want to turn the allen wrench the other way until the nut is tightened. Take your 1/8’’ allen wrench and turn the nut counter clockwise (until you hear a click). Keep in mind that when you put the nut on the rear, you will want to keep your finger there so it does not fall out.

Once you do this, take the nut & bolt you had when you removed the stock shroud and place them back on the body (the nut goes on the back of the body and the bolt through the front). Proceed to connect the two points protruding from the Killhouse Keymod Shroud (on the side with the Killhouse Logo) with their respective holes on the TMC body. What you should have during step one is a TMC body and stock minus any barrel or shroud. And finally (and this one should hopefully be a given), there should absolutely not be any HPA or CO2 tanks attached whatsoever during this process.

Secondly, your Tippmann TMC magazine needs to be removed for safety purposes. The stock TMC paintball shroud needs to be removed along with the barrel in order to, of course, replace it with your new Killhouse Keymod Shroud. Well, never fear – check out the quick guide below on how to properly install the Killhouse TMC Keymod Shroud on your Tippmann TMC!įirst and foremost, you want to ensure a few things are done before you commence Project Operation on the Tippmann TMC. But wait, the dang shroud ain’t fitting on your TMC paintball gun! What in the world.
